Regular Planning Commission (MCPC) meetings are open to the public and generally held on the second Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. The MCPC  hears new tower applications, map amendments, text amendments, and planned unit developments.

Regular Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) meetings are open to the public and generally held quarterly on the third Wednesday of January, April, July and October at 6:00 p.m. The BZA also does special meetings in between the quarterly meetings for items submitted regular meetings. The BZA hears variances, conditional use permits, and appeals from planning director decisions.

Speakers for either the MCPC or BZA not speaking as part of an application should notify the Director of Planning at 304-291-9572, ten (10) days prior to a meeting for placement on the corresponding agenda.
